about

although cosmonauts have always been seen as the true heroes of the modern times, reliable research has proved that a majority of the space travellers suffers from a serious fear of flying. especially the period between lift off and reaching the orbit turned out to be the most straining part for sensitive cosmonauts. for many decades all scientific attemps to get rid of this problem have failed. some years ago the scientist hello chodura, a cosmopolitain well known from tv-shows like “alles oder nichts” or his epochmaking works “weltraumfahrt – mit 72 bunten bildern zum einkleben”, dared a completely new approach to solve this problem in his book “handbuch zu den einflüssen ionosphärischer wellen auf die cortalen und celebralen systeme weltraumreisender humanoiden”. according to chodura the enormous speed of the capsule during the transfer into the orbit as well as the vibrations of the entire vehicle cause a malfunction in certain synaptical areas of the traveller. ionospheric waves piercing the spacecraft lead to further irritations. depression, fear and uneasiness are just some of the symptons which have been reported repeatedly.
experiments with various sorts of medication failed. certain tone colors and scales seem to be the key. after having read an articel about tonal phase variations and eradications hello chodura had the idea to use counter frequencies to calm the cosmonauts. he stated: “if you send soundwaves into a glass of water you will be able to observe certain waveforms at the surface. the easiest way of calming the waves is to send more sounds from another source onto the surface. the problem is to find the appropriate equivalent that fits like a key into a keyhole.” on numerous parabolic testflights chodura tried to find these equivalent tones. he took five experimentees as well as a piano onto the aircraft and played different tone scales until the monitors the test persons were connected with verified a maximum calmness. the first title on this album, music for spaceports, has directly been derived from these tone-scales. we would strongly recommend all cosmonauts who suffer from a fear of flying to listen to this track during the period between lift off and reaching the orbit. we are deeply convinced that the synthesis of hello chodura's theory and navel's practical realisation will work.
the second title, très cosmique, represents a further development of chodura's theory, as it deals with the phenomenon of cosmonauts becoming homesick as soon as they lose sight of the motherplanet on long distance space travels. the tone scales used in this title immediately effect the cerebral areas responsible for the individual memories, which are produced in larger amounts when these areas are provoked. to find the right scale we again took chodura's results and put them into a mathematical equation. we related the distance of the cerebral parts between the area of fears and the area of homesickness to the chromatic intervals of hello chodura's tone scale. the future may verify that these tone scales help to make intergalactic travelling possible. sevastopole, july 2008.
